The solar combi system is an integrated renewable energy solution that uses solar panels to generate hot water, which is then stored in a thermal storage tank for multiple applications throughout the building.
Solar collectors produce hot water using renewable solar energy, which is transferred and stored in a dedicated insulated buffer tank. From this tank, the stored thermal energy is distributed to support underfloor heating systems, providing efficient and low-carbon space heating, as well as domestic hot water (DHW) for everyday household use.
During periods of high solar production, especially in summer, when heating demand is reduced, excess thermal energy is redirected to heat the swimming pool. This ensures that no generated energy is wasted, maximising system efficiency and overall energy utilisation throughout the year.
The system is designed to optimise energy management between seasonal demands, prioritising domestic hot water and heating in winter, and pool heating in summer, making it a highly efficient and sustainable solution for residential and commercial applications.
